Objective:  To destroy your opponent while learning how to use the geographic grid of latitude and longitude.

 

Directions:  Use Grid #1 to locate your vessels.  You should place 5 submarines, 4 PT boats, 3 carriers and 2 battleships on point intersections as indicated below.

Use Grid #2 to keep track of the shots your fire upon your opponent.  Be sure to keep Grid #1 hidden from your enemy.

 

Remember:

State the latitude first.  Latitude lines go across and are expressed as either north or south (of the equator).

 

Longitude lines should be stated second.  Longitude lines go up and down and are expressed as either east or west (of the Prime Meridian).

 

Clues:

Latitude lines go across like lines on a ladder.

Longitude lines are all long ~ stretching from pole to pole.
