I am now single and have been since ‘87. I have three children; Mary, Jim, & Bill. They all live in the metro area.  They have blessed me with 9 grandchildren 4 boys and 5 girls ages 2-20.  The 4 youngest live in Spring Lake Park, so I manage to get up there at least once a week.   I have just retired from Alliant Techsystems, last November after over 18 years with the company.  I started out as a Sect’y; and ended my career in the IS department working with the wide area network group where I learned a lot about computers and communication services.  Prior to working for ATK, when my children were young, I did a lot of part-time work, telephone answering service, school bus driver for Special Ed students and some bookkeeping jobs.  (The old saying,  Jack of all master of none, I have had a lot of variety in my jobs).   My hobbies include reading, knitting, some quilting, genealogy and traveling.  I have had the chance to go to Norway, and Holland.  I have been out West several times and just last year I went out to the New England states.   Right now I’m in the process of downsizing my house, and getting rid of all the junk that has accumulated the past 40 years.  I plan on doing some volunteering when this is completed.   If everything goes OK, I plan to attend the reunion.
