I just retired in July of 2006 from the Minnesota Department of Corrections.  I worked out of Montevideo as the Sentencing to Service officer and coordinator for 3 counties out here.  I stayed on past 65 in order to build up more retirement however I really did like my job so it was easy for me to hang in there.

During the last 3 years I became profoundly deef.  I was very fortunate to be a candidate for a cochlear implant and it was like a gift from heven.  Very Very succesful.

I do stay busy working in my little wood shop.  We have been making a month vaction to Florida for the past few years our kids keep up busy traveling around spending time with them.  I have l son in Montevideo.  He Teaches Elementary Ed and coaches about everything he can.  The others are within a couple of hours from here with one exception and he is my step son living in canon Falls.

My first wife passed away several years ago and I am now married to a former Monte Grad of 59. She is  Elaine (Rekstad)  We have been married for going on 6 years.

I'm looking forward to our reunion
