This picture, from March of 2007, shows Verna and Howard hiking in the Sandia Mountains, near Albuquerque. They go hiking there once or twice a week. *** Verna writes, "I always find the rock formations interesting. Some of them don't take much imagination....and the one here looks like a fainting couch. That is my husband, Howard behind me."
